"You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late."

About Justin

Justin Pasquariello extended his grace on so many, but unfortunately it was not until his funeral services did we get to meet so many strangers who benefited from knowing him.

This is the reason we chose “Live Simply. Be Kind.” as the driving principle of our organization. It not only describes how it has changed us as individuals, but it also explains how just one average person can impact so many lives just by living simply and above all, being genuinely kind. Justin’s personality combined with his relentlessness, loyalty, and integrity is the reason he was loved by all he came in contact with, and as an organization we take Justin’s way of life and embed it not only in our foundation efforts but in our daily lives. He was a guy that we thought we knew but was so much greater.

Justin was the everyday family man, friend, and father of three. Between work and family obligations, he had a deep-rooted faith in God and attended weekly mass at St Francis RC church along with his family. Justin also had a personal devotion to the Santa Febronia Chapel in Hoboken where he visited often to pray. Though we always knew he was an exceptionally good man, it was not until his untimely death that we discovered that Justin performed random acts of simple kindness on a daily basis without ever publicizing his actions.

Justin’s good deeds were not limited to family and friends. It was the local gas station attendant, a random child in need of a friend, or a homeless person on the street. He would actually take the time to just pay attention and listen to anyone and everyone. Any working father of three would find this task difficult, but Justin still managed to make a difference just by being present.
